An out of control wildfire in the Fort Saint James area has led to a road closure.
According to the BC Wildfire Service, a temporary closure of Germansen Landing Road has been implemented in the vicinity of Cripple Forest Service Road.
The fire has spread rapidly due to high winds and is expected to cross the road.
The lightning caused blaze is 777 hectares in size and was first discovered on August 12th.
