Dogs and dancing in store for Prince George this weekend

Another weekend with plenty to do is on the calendar for Prince George.

Crossroads Street Fest – Saturday, 5:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

July Crowd, Coastal Drifters, and The Wild will entertain in this weekend’s downtown block party.

It is the second of three Crossroads Street Fests this summer, the final one will be held September 7th.

PG Kennel Club Dog Show – Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Prince George’s annual dog show began yesterday (Thursday) and continues over the weekend.

The show, hosted by the Prince George Kennel Club, features eight all-breed championship shows at the Prince George Agriplex in Exhibition Park. A full schedule can be found at the above link.

‘An Evening of Enchantment’ – Friday – 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Photo ops and a forest walk with elves, fairies, gnomes, and other magical beings from medival times.

The event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, and an assortment of vendors. Tickets are $12 for those 15 and up, $6 for kids 6-14.

The event will be held at 8845 Aquarius Road.

PG Old Time Fiddlers Concert and Workshop – Friday – 7:00 p.m.

Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park will be the concert grounds for Gordon Stobbe & JJ Guy who are playing by-donation in the band shell tonight.

They are also holding a workshop at Newton Farm, including “performance at Willow River Market Sunday morning,  Jam and Dance on Saturday night July 27 at 7:30 at Willow River Community Hall.”
