Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako downgrades Laidman Lake area to Evacuation Alert

The evacuation order surrounding the Laidman Lake Wildfire, about 100 kilometres south of Fraser Lake, was been downgraded to an alert.

The alert was originally issued last Saturday night by the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako.

According to the BC Wildfire Service, the Laidman Lake Wildfire is approximately 5,000 hectares in size and is suspected to be lightning caused.
