Ancient Forest reopens partially after being closed for fire

The Ancient Forest’s main walkways have reopened to the public after being closed nearly two weeks ago due to wildfires.

The T’oh Whudujut Park is once again accessible, though the Driscol Ridge Trail is still closed out of concern for the out of control 39 hectare G10784 fire.

T’oh Whudujut includes many of the attractions the forest is known for, including the big tree, treebeard, and the waterfall.

There is no word on when Driscol Ridge may reopen.
