Kodiaks’ youth programming 50/50 winner drawn

The Kodiaks’ Kickoff 50/50 prize has been won and one person’s weekend just got a lot better.

The draw raised $27,175 – half of which will go towards youth football programs in the community, the other half was won by Bob Denis when his lucky ticket (A- 1576) was drawn.

In a previous interview with My PG Now, Kodiaks Business Operations Manager Scott Stoughton said “In the offseason, we run some off-season training, we call it Selects training, which is sort of our premiere developmental stuff for kids 10-18 years of age.”

“In the spring, we run an NFL Flag program that runs for two months, lots of fun to be had there, great way to get introduced to football and learn the game and have some fun. In the fall, starting in August we run a youth tackle league that will have a K-3 contact tackle group, we’ll have a [grade] 4-5 tackle group and a grade 6-7 tackle group as well.”

The Kodiaks begin their season at home on July 20th against the Vancouver Island Raiders.
