RCMP hoping to confirm woman’s wellbeing after concerning weekend reports

The Prince George RCMP are trying to locate a woman after a concerning incident on the Cameron Street Bridge late Friday night.

At around 1:00 am on July 6th (Saturday), the local RCMP got two calls about a woman on the bridge who appeared to be in distress and was calling out at passing vehicles.

Police were given a limited description of the woman, they say she is Caucasian, 5’4 or 5’5, and had light brown or blonde hair up in a bun.

When police arrived at the bridge the woman was no longer there and witnesses had not seen where she had gone.

Officers are now looking for anyone who may have seen her that night, or who may have given her a ride, to ensure her safety.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the PG RCMP.
