Prince George’s School District 57 lifts the lid on another school year today.
Super-intendant, Brian Pepper says they are pleased this school year will start on time.
“I think we are creatures of habit and this will be a real positive staff is excited to return with the appropriate number of days this year.”
Cellphone usage remains a big issues in schools and Pepper adds they could become a vital part of the learning process very soon.
“I think over time you will see cell phone become a bigger part of learning but for the start of this school year please make confirm when cell phones can be used by the proper officials.”
Today is only a 90 minute information day for students, staff and parents with regular classes starting tomorrow.
