Vanderhoof School District on the hunt for new Superintendent

School District 91, Nechako Lakes, has hired a consulting firm to help them find their next Superintendent.

According to the district, meetings with AZ Consulting will be held over the summer and an official job posting will be made in September with interviews anticipated in November.

“This is a lengthy process with many moving parts. The Board
is dedicated to ensuring our new Superintendent is a suitable fit for our communities and District,” Board Chair Dave Christie said in a news release.

Beginning August 1st, Assistant Superintendent Mike Skinner will assume the role on an interim basis. Outgoing Superintendent Karla Mitchell will help make the temporary power transfer as smooth as possible.
