The Panthers broke a 1-1 tie with three straight goals in the second period and then they held on for the victory despite being outshot 35-23.

Florida leads the Stanley Cup Final 3-0 and will go for a sweep with Game 4 set for Saturday night (puck drop just after 5:00) in Edmonton.
The Panthers won 4-1 on Monday.
Florida won the the opener on Saturday 3-0.

We are two weeks away from the 2024 NHL Draft which will be held on June 28th (starting at 4:30 PM) and 29th (beginning at 8:30 AM) in Las Vegas.
Sniper Terik Parascak of the Prince George Cougars is 15th among North American skaters in the Central Scouting final rankings.
His teammates Ondrej Becher and Hunter Laing are listed 69th and 86th respectively.

Goalie Carter Wishart (’05), from Chaska Minnesota, has committed to the Prince George Spruce Kings for the 2024/2025 season.
The 6’1, 172-pound Wishart spent the last two seasons In the North American Hockey League with the Chippewa Steel.
He is committed to Colgate University to play NCAA Division I hockey following his junior career.
The Spruce Kings have signed Goaltender Carter Wishart (’05) for the 2024-2025 season.

The Boston Celtics go for an NBA championship when they visit the Dallas Mavericks tonight (Friday 5:30).
The Celtics hold a commanding 3-0 lead.
NBA teams that lead a series 3-0 are a perfect 156-0.
Boston won on Wednesday 106-99.
The Celtics won the first two games by scores of 107-89 and 105-98.

UNBC Timberwolves:
Longtime NHL executive Brian Burke will be the keynote speaker during the 10th annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy Night on November 21st at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre.
Since its inception, the Legacy Night has helped raise more than $740,000 for
scholarships and bursaries for UNBC student-athletes.
Tickets go on sale starting September 6th.
