Several community members will be put in a jail cell tomorrow.
The Cops for Cancer fundraiser in Prince George begins at 8:30 from the Wilson Square Community Market.
Organizer, David Tucker explains how it works.
“We’re putting them in a jail cell and they are given a bail amount by whoever nominates them we then ask them to use their phones and find anyone they can to bail them out.”
Tucker says the Jail N Bail event has proven to be quite profitable.
“Some towns we brought in around 40 thousand dollars in one day and in a big town like Prince George it has the potential to be a huge fundraiser.”
They are still in need of nominations.
