The Edmonton Oilers have taken a 3-2 series lead and will have a chance to advance to the Stanley Cup Final tomorrow at 5:00.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins led the way with the game’s first two goals.

The last time the Oilers were in the final was 2006 when they lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in 7 games.

Memorial Cup Semi-Final

Saginaw Spirit: 7  vs  Moose Jaw Warriors: 1

The WHL season has officially come to an end.

The Moose Jaw Warriors were thumped and bounced by the Spirit, who will advance to play the London Knights in the final.

London beat Saginaw in the third round of the OHL playoffs in six games.

MLB

The Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates play just after noon today. Toronto beat the Pirates 5-3 yesterday.

At 6-4 in their last 10 games, the Jays are clawing their way back to the .500 mark, sitting with a 27-29 record.

NBA

The break in the action is nearly halfway done with the league final set to start on Thursday.

The Celtics have home court advantage over the Mavericks, both teams made light work of their third round opponents with a combined 8-1 record.
