Ravensbergen’s perfect weekend earns WHL Goaltender of the Week nod

The Berger is back on top.

After posting a pair of shutouts in the first two games of their series against the Kelowna Rockets, Joshua Ravensbergen is the WHL’s Goaltender of the Week.

The 17-year-old made 21 saves in Friday’s game one 4-0 win over the Rockets, and made 16 in Saturday’s 5-0 game two win.

This is the third time the Ravensbergen has been named WHL Goaltender of the Week, he’s also been named WHL Rookie of the Week once.

Ravensbergen and the Cougars will be back in action tomorrow night for game three in Kelowna.
