After months of practice, the Special Olympics BC Prince George basketball team travelled to Kamloops to participate in the Special Olympics Regional basketball tournament.
The team played four games in total, winning the first three.
They were defeated by the Kelowna B team in their final game, and came in second place.
The team consisted of Chase Caron, Matteus Codeiro, David Dunn, Clayton Juillette, Joshua Mehrassa, Tegan Raines, Audrey Nelson, Adam Spokes, and Malachy Stewart, who previously helped Team Canada earn a gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin.
