Mayor Simon Yu has proclaimed this week as “Ranger Week” in the City of Prince George.
The Rocky Mountain Rangers celebrate the anniversary of their establishment during the month of April, and this year marks the 12th anniversary of the Rangers’ return of a rifle company (Bravo Company) to Prince George.
The Rocky Mountain Rangers flag was raised at City Hall this morning to mark Ranger Week in #CityofPG.

The Rocky Mountain Rangers train local recruits in both Kamloops and Prince George.
According to their website, the Primary Reserve Unit’s primary task is to recruit and train reserve infantry soldiers to augment Canada’s military during Local, National and International deployments.
