Police are in the midst of a potential homicide investigation.
In the early morning on Sunday officers located a deceased male on Haldi road in PG.
Here’s corporal Craig Douglass with the RCMP:
“On Sunday August 23rd at approximately 8:40 in the morning, members of the Prince George RCMP located a deceased male near the end of Haldi road in Prince George. Although the cause of death has yet to be determined, police are treating this investigation as a homicide.”
The victim, 35 year old Matthew Begg, is described as a Caucasian male standing about 5′ 10″, 212 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Beggs habits or whereabouts over the past few days is being asked to contact the PG detachment.
AÂ portion of Haldi road is closed, and is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time while the investigation continues.
