Hospice looking for community input in new survey

The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society is seeking public input in a newly launched survey.

Donna Flood, the Hospice’s Executive Director, explained the survey aims to find out “what does the community know about palliative care, and where do they see themselves in that?”

She explained Palliative care is different than hospice and is “a longer trajectory,” and the survey is designed to address gaps in that service as well as gaps in people’s understanding of what that service is.

“We will then analyze what we get back, and then we will start informing people on the resources out there that can help them,” she explained. “It is both a knowledge assessment and a needs assessment.”

The survey will be open until April 6th, you can find it online here.

The full survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
