The Prince George Spruce Kings’ regular season home finale ended with another loss for home team.
The Spruce Kings fell 3-1 to the Vernon Vipers in front of 1,107 fans at the Kopar Memorial Arena.
Vernon opened the scoring in the first with a goal from Hank Cleaves.
Kilian McGregor-Bennett scored late in the opening period, but the Spruce Kings couldn’t capitalize on the momentum in the second.
Lucas McCloskey scored a pair for the Vipers in the middle-frame.
Charlie Zolin made 29 saves for Prince George.
The Spruce Kings (15-34-3-0) are at the bottom of the BCHL standings.
