The Cougars extended their point streak to a club-record-tying 14 games.

Prince George led 4-1 after two periods but Kelowna stormed back with four goals in the first eight minutes of the 3rd to go up 5-4.
Oren Shtrom tallied with 2:28 left in the 3rd and Captain Hudson Thornton scored the game-winning goal at 4:14 of overtime.

P.G. sniper Zac Funk notched his league-high 64th goal, his 30th this season on the Power Play.

The (44-15-1-3) Cougars are back in first place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the (44-15-2-1) Portland Winterhawks.
P.G. has five games left and Portland has six remaining.
The Cougars visit the (28-27-5-4) Victoria Royals on Friday and Saturday and will also play Sunday in Langley against the Vancouver Giants.

The Prince George Spruce Kings host the (19-24-4-1) Merritt Centennials on Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.
The Spruce Kings Alumni Game is set for Saturday afternoon at 2:45 at the Kopar Memorial Arena.
P.G. has just six regular season games left.
The (14-31-3) Spruce Kings, who have lost four straight and 10 of their last 11, are last in the 8-team Interior Division, 10 points behind the (19-26-3) Cranbrook Bucks who are in 7th.

The U18 Cariboo Cougars visit the Vancouver North East Chiefs in the best-of-three BC Elite Hockey League semifinals.
Games in Burnaby will be played on Friday afternoon at 3:00, Saturday afternoon at 3:15 and if needed Sunday morning at 10:30.
