A Prince George man is dead after his semi rolled over on Highway 97 earlier this morning.
At around 4:30 am Fire crews were called out to Highway 97 and the Likely junction just outside of 150 Mile House.
The 55 year old driver was hauling corrosive chemicals, and Hazmat teams were deployed as a precaution while Fire teams and Williams Lake Search and Rescue extracted the man from the cab.
However, he was pronounced dead on scene and at this time there is no evidence to suggest any type of hazardous spill has occurred.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
