An update to the bank robbery in College Heights earlier this week…
31 year old Jonathon Tattersal of Smithers has now been formally charged with 6 counts tied to his alleged hold up of the TD bank on O’Grady Road.
· Robbery with an Imitation Weapon
· Uttering Threats (2 counts)
· Commit an Indictable Offence while Masked
· Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (2 counts)
Police say, on Tuesday afternoon Tattersal used a mask and imitation handgun to demand cash before fleeing on foot.
He was arrested that evening in a wooded area off O’Grady Road.
Tattersal has no history with police and will remain in custody until at least his next court date on August 19th.
