PG non-profit group hosting Anti-Racism Forum this weekend

The Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society of Prince George is hosting an Anti-Racism Forum on Saturday, at the House of Ancestors.

The forum is expected to bring together community leaders to discuss the impact of racism and discrimination in our society and the solutions.

“We believe that it is important to have these conversations and work together to create a more just and equitable world,” said Ravi Saxena, Executive Director of IMSS. The forum will feature keynote speaker Kasari Govender, BC Human Rights Commissioner, as well as a panel discussion with local activists and community leaders.

“We’re excited to bring together such a diverse group of people to discuss these important issues,” said Mr. Saxena. “We hope that this forum will be the start of a larger conversation and lead to real change in our community.”
