Five members of Canada’s 2018 World Junior hockey team are now charged with sexual assault.
The charges stem from events alleged by a woman that occurred in a hotel room in London, Ontario, in 2018.
Lawyers for NHL players Dillon Dube, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, and Cal Foote say their clients are innocent, and look forward to clearing their names in court.
Another team member, former NHL player Alex Formenton, was charged by London police on Sunday.

There are three NHL games tonight (Wednesday): Ottawa at Detroit, LA at Nashville and San Jose at Anaheim.
This will be the league’s final action before the All-Star break.
The (33-11-5) Vancouver Canucks will play their next game on Tuesday (Feb 6th) at Carolina to begin a 5-game road trip.

The Prince George Spruce Kings are down to their last 19 regular season games, eight at home and 11 on the road.
The (12-20-3) Spruce Kings host the Cranbrook Bucks on Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.
Prince George is last in the 8-team Interior Division, three points behind the (13-19-3-1) Merritt Centennials and five back of the (15-22-2) Bucks.

The U18 Cariboo Cariboo host the (6-19-2-1) Greater Vancouver Canadians Friday morning at 10:30 at the Kopar Memorial Arena and Saturday morning at 9:00 at CN Centre in the BC Elite Hockey League.
With six games remaining in their regular season, the (22-6-2) U18 Cougars are in second place, two points behind the (22-4-2-2) Vancouver North East Chiefs and one point ahead of the (22-5-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
The Canadians are 7th in the 9-team league.

The UNBC Timberwolves will play in Langley against the Trinity Western University (TWU) Spartans on Friday and Saturday night in Canada West basketball.
The Timberwolves will conclude their regular season with home games against the Saskatchewan Huskies on Feb. 9th and 10th.
UNBC has a record of 8-8 for the men and 4-12 for the women.
TWU is 2-14 (men) and 10-6 (women).
