WHL:
The Prince George Cougars play Game 4 on their 5-game road trip tonight (Tuesday) when they visit the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The (31-14-0-2) Cougars are 2nd in the Western Conference, a point behind the (31-11-2-1) Portland Winterhawks and a point ahead of the (30-15-1-2) Everett Silvertips.
The (16-24-2) Thunderbirds are four points out of a playoff spot.
In the Cougars’ last game on Sunday, a 5-4 shootout loss to the Wenatchee Wild, Riley Heidt notched a goal and two assists to become the PG Cougars’ all-time leader in both points and assists.

BCHL:
The Prince George Spruce Kings host the Cranbrook Bucks on Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.
The (12-20-3) Spruce Kings are last in the 8-team Interior Division, three points behind the (13-19-3-1) Merritt Centennials and five back of the (15-22-2) Bucks.

BC Elite Hockey League:
The U18 Cariboo Cariboo host the (6-19-2-1) Greater Vancouver Canadians Friday morning at 10:30 at the Kopar Memorial Arena and Saturday morning at 9:00 at CN Centre in the BC Elite Hockey League.
The (22-6-2) U18 Cougars are in second place, two points behind the (22-4-2-2) Vancouver North East Chiefs and one point ahead of the (22-5-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
The Canadians are 7th in the 9-team league.

NHL: (1 Monday game)

There are two NHL games tonight (Tuesday): Columbus at St. Louis and Seattle at San Jose.
The (33-11-5) Vancouver Canucks will play their next game on Tuesday, Feb 6th at Carolina to begin a 5-game road trip.
As of their All-Star break, the Canucks have the best record in the Western Conference and are tied with the (31-9-9) Boston Bruins for the top record in the NHL.
They also have the league-best +59 goal differential.
The Canucks are riding an 11-game point streak.

The Edmonton Oilers’ 16-game win streak is one shy of the NHL record of 17 set by the 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Oilers will attempt to tie the record when they return from the All-Star break to play at Vegas on Feb. 6th.

Canada West basketball:
The UNBC Timberwolves visit the Trinity Western University (TWU) Spartans in Langley on Friday and Saturday night in Canada West basketball.
The Timberwolves will conclude their regular season with home games against the Saskatchewan Huskies on Feb. 9th and 10th.
UNBC has a record of 8-8 for the men and 4-12 for the women.
TWU is 2-14 (men) and 10-6 (women).
Saskatchewan is 8-8 (men) and 16-0 (women).
