WHL:
The (30-13-0-1) Prince George Cougars begin a 5-game road trip Friday against the (16-21-4) Chiefs in Spokane.
Prince George is tied with the Everett Silvertips for the Western Conference lead but the Cougars have two games in hand over the (29-14-1-2) Silvertips.
Everett will play at Kelowna tonight (Wednesday).
The (28-11-2-1) Portland Winterhawks are two points behind the Cougars with two games in hand and two points back of the Silvertips with four games in hand.

The U18 Cariboo Cariboo will visit the (12-13-0-1) Vancouver North West Hawks Saturday night at 6:15 and Sunday afternoon at 12:15 on the Lower Mainland in the BC Elite Hockey League.
The (20-6-2) U18 Cougars are in second place, two points behind the (20-4-2-2) Vancouver North East Chiefs and one point ahead of the (20-5-1) Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.
The Hawks are 6th out of 9 teams.
