Starting next week, the Exploration Place will have days off.
They will begin a Thursday to Monday work week after being closed on Tuesday and Wednesday (January 23 and 24).
In a release, the museum said the move is “a proactive step to enhance operational efficiency during the slower winter season.”
The change in hours will not impact school groups who have bookings, and school visits are still offered for free thanks to the Drax Foundation.
A return to seven days a week in the summer is anticipated, as the Exploration Place said that is their busiest time of the year.
