At long last, the Prince George Ice Oval is set to open – but for how long?
According to Kathy Lewis, the Ice Oval Society President, the oval will be open on Saturday and Sunday this weekend, starting at 11:00 Saturday morning.
This will be the first time the weather has allowed for the oval to open in the 2023-24 winter.
How long it will lasts remains to be seen, temperatures are supposed to be on the rise again early next week, with daytime highs hanging around freezing.
