Pacific Coastal charters Autistic children flying to Lower Mainland

Pacific Coastal airlines and the Canucks Autism Network are making life easier for a planeload of autism-affected families.

The Airline is flying children and their parents down to the Lower Mainland where the kids will then attend a camp run by the Canucks Autism Network, while their parents enjoy a mini-vacation.

Erin Elder is a parent, and says the trip provides so much for her son:

“Living in the North we don’t have a lot of services. So the fact that the Canucks Autism Network targeted specifically families in the North is amazing, because outside of this my son wouldn’t have an opportunity like this because camps for typical children he wouldn’t be able to participate in.”

Pacific Coastal is donating two charters, the equivalent of 60 round trip flights, making the camp possible for families living in Northern Communities.
