PG Cougars sniper is the top WHL rookie again

For the 4th time this season, Terik Parascak of the Prince George Cougars has been named the WHL Rookie of the Week.

The 17-year-old Parascak racked up seven points, including three goals, in three road games helping Prince George to a 2-1 record for the week.

The 5-foot-11, 179-pound winger from Lethbridge is currently riding a six-game point streak that’s seen him put up 12 points (four goals, eight assists).

He leads all rookies across the CHL with 26 goals and 26 assists for 52 points in 33 games.

Parascak is eligible to be selected at the 2024 NHL Entry Draft in Las Vegas in June and was given a ‘B’ rating by the Central Scouting Service in October.

A ‘B’ rating projects second or third-round candidates.

The (24-9) Cougars are first in the WHL and will return to action on December 27 for a home game against the Edmonton Oil Kings.
