The Prince George Cougars will have a pair of players vying for spots on their national Junior Teams.
Ondrej Becher and Viliam Kmec will be headed to their respective countries’ World Junior camps.
Kmec is hoping to play in his third World Juniors for Slovakia.
During last year’s tournament, Kmec and Team Slovakia were ousted by Team Canada in the Quarter Final.
Kmec has seven goals and 13 assists through the first 30 games of the season, including a hat-trick in the season opener.
Becher, is making his second attempt to secure a spot on the Czech national team after narrowly missing the cut last year.
Becher has notched 16 goals and 29 assists in 30 games with the Cougars this season.
The World Juniors start on Boxing Day.
