Trelle Morrow will be Prince George’s next Freedom of the City recipient, the highest honour the city can award.
In a release, the city said “Council is recognizing Morrow’s contributions to the community over the last several decades with this award. Morrow’s architectural career spanned 40 years and he designed such notable buildings as the former Prince George Citizen building on Brunswick Street and Sacred Heart Cathedral. He was a long-serving member of the City of Prince George’s Heritage Commission, serving from 2015-2021.”
He is also a four-time Jeanne Clarke Local History Award winner.
Morrow will be presented the award at Monday’s (November 20) council meeting.
