City Council is looking at a loaded schedule for tonight’s meeting.
Both Prince George Taxi and Emerald Taxi will present a case for raised taxi rates.
The group’s proposed increase sees the base rate increase to $3.40, the per kilometre rate rise to $2.00, and a waiting time rate of $39.00 per hour.
There will also be updates on the remedial actions orders at George Street and Lombary Trailer Park.
The Prince George Airport Authority will also be talking about last year’s expansion and successes in a presentation to Council.
Council will also look at an application for a $10,000 infrastructure grant.
The meeting gets underway at 6:00.
