In case you haven’t figured it out for yourself yet, Terik Parascak is something special.
For the third time in four weeks, the Cougars forward has been named the WHL Rookie of the Week.
Parascak, a fourth-round pick in 2021, tallied six points in two games at the CN Centre.
In Saturday’s 7-1 schneidering over the Kamloops Blazers, Parascak scored the game-winning goal and added two assists.
In yesterday’s thrilling 7-5 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers, he found the back of the net twice and added one assist.

Through 12 games, Parascak is leading the WHL in goals scored with 12, and with 25 points, he’s trailing only his linemates, Zac Funk and Ondrej Becher (26 points each) in scoring.
He’s scored three or more points in five games this season.
Parascak and the Cougars will head out for a five-game road trip through the WHL’s East Division, starting on Saturday in Moose Jaw.
