The votes are in, and Terry Teegee will serve another term as Tribal Chief for the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council.
According to certified electoral officers, the votes are broken down as follows:
Terry Teegee- 371 votes
John Erickson- 128 votes
Martin Louie- 113 votes
Tim Erickson- 46 votes
662 voters turned out, for a participation rate of roughly 12 percent.
4 ballots were rejected.
Teegee stated before the election he would like to address pipeline issues like the LNG pipeline, and Enbridge’s Northern Gateway Pipeline.
