The weather over the weekend is taking a break from the hot temperatures we’ve been seeing over the past few weeks.
Lisa Coldwells is with Environment Canada, and says the weekend highs are around 15 degrees with isolated showers, after a cold front whipped through the region this morning.
She says mid-July temperatures are typically slightly higher:
“Not overly hot I wouldn’t say, but when the sun comes out this time of year we will be able to push it up towards at least normal, and normal is about 24 [degrees] for July”
Coldwells says luckily Sunday will not see much precipitation, and by Monday temperatures could return to around 22 degrees.
