Prince George’s School District is assisting RCMP with this weekend’s possible drowning at Gravel Pit Lake.
Superintendent Brian Pepper says school district administration were contacted by RCMP at five am Sunday.
Pepper says students from all six Prince George high schools were in attendance at the party west of the city.
He is not able to say if the two people in the vehicle that went into the lake were high school students.
He says School District 57 is working to set up supports for when students return to classes on Tuesday.
