The Prince George Fire Centre will lift it’s camp-fire ban as of noon today.
Fire Information Officer, Jill Kelsh explains the reasons behind the move.
“Due to cooler temperatures and precipitation within the Prince George Fire Centre the fire danger has lowered enough that it is safe at this time to lift the ban.”
Fireworks, Burn Barrels and Tiki Torches are still prohibited.
Residents can have fire that can be a half metre by half metre in size.
