The Spruce Kings play Cranbrook today (Thursday at 4:00), Trail Friday (7:30 PM) and Powell River Saturday (2 PM).

The Prince George Cougars play the Edmonton Oil Kings in a pre-season doubleheader in Grande Cache, Alberta.
The two teams face off Friday night (6:00 PT) and Sunday afternoon (noon PT).

Texas Rangers 10 Toronto Blue Jays 0
The (81-64) Rangers will go for a 4-game sweep of the series tonight (Thursday 4:07 PT) in Toronto.
Toronto has lost the first three games of the four-game series by a combined score of 26-7.
The (80-66) Jays, with 16 games left, are a game behind the (81-65) Seattle Mariners for the third and final wild-card spot in the A.L.
Toronto is also a game and a half back of Texas as the Rangers hold down the second wild-card berth.

The (8-4) B.C. Lions return to action on Saturday (4 PM) when they host the (3-9) Ottawa RedBlacks.
Ottawa has lost six straight.
The Lions are 2nd in the West Division, four points behind the (10-3) Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a game in hand.

The (2-3) Prince George Kodiaks junior football team will host the (3-2) Langley Rams Saturday night at 7:00 at Masich Place Stadium in the BC Football Conference (BCFC).
It is a rematch from last weekend in Langley where the Rams skunked the Kodiaks 62-0.

The UNBC Timberwolves are on the road in Canada West soccer this weekend.
