Heartbreakers Night Club, UNBC’s Wood Innovation Research Laboratory still without power following explosion

The fallout continues from yesterday’s (Tuesday) explosion along the 400 block of Dominion Street in downtown Prince George.

The blast sent shock waves throughout the city and is considered suspicious in nature by the Prince George RCMP.

Spokesperson, Mike Kellett told MyPGNow.com it impacted a long list of customers, the majority of which were businesses.

“It affected 126 customers within that impacted section of downtown Prince George and the immediate area of that explosion. Once fire officials had secured the site of the explosion, BC Hydro crews were allowed on to the property and assessed electrical infrastructure, restoring power.”

Kellett added Heart Breakers Nightclub and UNBC’s Wood Innovation Research Laboratory are still without power as crews continue to fully restore the area around the explosion.
