An agreement between BC and Nova Scotia will bolster trades training for the shipbuilding and marine industry.
BC Premier Christy Clark says it was vital to stay in Canada to find workers.
“We believe Canadians should be first in line for those jobs, so rather than look overseas let’s find the talent in Canada.”
The announcement was made today at the 2015 Summer Meeting of Canada’s Premiers.

Shipbuilding and Ship Repair is worth billions of dollars in both provinces.
The agreement will allow skill workers to in both sectors to find employment in BC and Nova Scotia.
