Prince George man facing attempted murder charges after machete attacks in Edmonton

33-year-old Prince George man Bobby-James Lavallee has been arrested in Edmonton and charged with four counts of attempted murder and four counts of aggravated assault.

At around 4:00 am on Monday (July 31), Northeast Edmonton Branch patrol officers were called to a disturbance at a northeast residence.

When they arrived, police found three people – two women and one man – with life-threatening injuries, another man was found with a serious stab wound inside a car at a neighbouring residence soon after.

Investigators believe these “machete” attacks were unprovoked, but not random.
