It would appear that Prince George home sales have increased from this time last year.
According to BC Northern Real Estate Board President David Black, Prince George saw 721 properties changing hands so far this year. An increase over the 695 sold up till July 2014.
BC Northern Real Estate Board President David Black says PG’s first few months were slow, but saw a boom in the last quarter:
“May and June were strong, and the situation that has left us in is inventory is low but we still have demand. So it’s a good time, if you’re thinking about selling your house now is a good time to get it on the market”
Black says Prince George has weathered oil and gas commodity prices far better than some of the other regions, and he says its a testament to how diversified the economy really is.
