Updated story at 1:52 PM

Police in Prince George have launched separate investigations after two women were found deceased 24 hours apart.

On Monday (July 17th), the RCMP located a deceased woman inside a residence on the 1500 block of Victoria Street.

The death has been deemed suspicious.

From there, PG Mounties responded to a home invasion complaint yesterday (Tuesday) on the 2100 block of Upland Street, which resulted in the death of a 22-year-old woman (unofficially the 7th homicide in Prince George this year).
