More wildfire evacuees are trickling into Prince George.

According to the city, 125 evacuees have registered in the northern capital as of this morning (Monday).

The Emergency Reception Centre located along the Exhibition Grounds re-opened last week due to the increased volume of fires in the northwest and VanJam areas.

City staff told MyPGNow.com there’s been no line-ups and all people needing support have been seen.

There are 161 wildfires burning in the Prince George Fire Centre – 10 are of note.
