Over 25-hundred residents in Fort Saint James woke up with out power this morning.
It is located south of Tachie Road and other areas such as Sandhu Road and Germansen Landing Road.
BC Hydro Spokesperson, Mike Kellett explained what caused the outage and when the lights will come back on.
“It’s a transmission circuit failure so when we have a failure like that it tends to impact a lot of people unfortunately. Crews are enroute and we expect to have power restored around mid day or early afternoon.”
Kellett says the incident is not wildfire related.
