An evacuation order has been given at the Great Beaver Lake wildfire, east of Fort St. James.
According to the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George, this includes “Great Beaver Lake, Tureen Lake, Teardrop Lake and Bugle Lake and three provincial recreation sites.”
Anyone in the area is being told to leave immediately.
The fire is currently 938 hectares large and is considered out of control.
