Police arrest two after early morning B & E

Two men have been arrest following a break and enter early Friday morning.

At around 3 AM, the RCMP received the call that a business on the 4500 block of Highway 97 had been entered, and that two men in a dark coloured pickup were stealing lumber from that property.

An officer arrived and attempted to pull over the vehicle which failed to comply as it exited the premises at a high rate of speed.

The suspects were then found fleeing the vehicle on foot near the John Hart Bridge, before being taken into custody with help from a Police Service dog.
