Another multi-family housing project could be in the works for Prince George.
According to the City, a numbered company from the province is attempting to re-zone land at the corner of Handlen Road and Kelly Road South, which could see the development of up to 40 units.
The developer wants to re-zone a lot at 4393 Handlen Road, near the vicinity of Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary School.
The developer may build an apartment, townhouses, four-plexes, or congregate living facility under the proposed zoning according to the city.
In August of 2022, the lot was sold for $220,000 according to BC Assessment.
City council will consider the first two readings of the rezoning bylaw during its Monday meeting (June 26th).
Written comments on the project must be submitted before noon on Monday.
Residents can also submit their comments to [email protected] or by filling out the online comment form.
