The Prince George Cougars have made a sizable signing.
Kayden Lemire, a 6’5″ forward, has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Cats.
Lemire was picked 37th overall by the Cougars in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.
The Edmonton, Alberta product spent last season with the OHA Edmonton U15 program of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League, notching 28 goals and 35 assists in just 27 games.
“We are thrilled to have Kayden committed to the Cougars and welcome him and his family to the Cougars organization,” said Director of Scouting Bob Simmonds.
“He brings size, skill, and scoring to the table and will be a big part of our future.”
Lemire joins the Cats’ first round pick in this years’ draft, Carson Carels, in signing with the Cougars.
