The Prince George Agricultural and Historical Association has been granted 70 thousand dollars by the BC government.
Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris says it will help them host a special event at the end of the summer.
“It’s to help them with their fall fair, the Northern Exhibition has been a big part of Prince George and it costs money to put these on of course and we would like to do whatever we can to help out in that regard.”
The BC Northern Exhibition takes place from August 12 to 16 at Exhibition Park.
Entertainment will include draft horse and barrel racing, the annual 4H auction and musical performances.
