The Prince George RCMP have confirmed the missing 79-year-old male has been located safe and sound.

The Prince George RCMP are seeking public help in finding a missing person.
Police say 79-year-old John Matthew Casimel was last seen at his residence on April 1st.
“Mr. Casimel has limited mobility and uses a mobility scooter to get around,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
“Police have conducted extensive patrols in the downtown area where he is known to frequent but have no recent sighting of him.”
John Matthew Casimel is described as:
- Indigenous male
- 180 cm or 5’11”
- 73 kg or 161 lb
- Brown eyes
- Black hair that is greying
- Moustache
- Often wears a cowboys
Anyone with information on John Matthew Casimel or his whereabouts is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP.
